We are currently in the final validation phase of our new model, scheduled for release later this month.
In this model, we added three main features. First, we used the USB Programmable Power Supply (USB PPS) standard for the power stage. This enables the use of standard, low-cost and high-quality adapters found in modern fast chargers. This high-efficiency design will also support our future high-current measurements.
Second, the new chassis is fully aluminium, providing both better thermal management and electromagnetic shielding compared to the previous plastic enclosure.
Third, we redesigned the front-end analog stage to lower the input-referred noise floor, enabling cleaner measurements at the picoamp level.
We believe the electrochemistry community will benefit from the practical advantages of these improvements. We will publish detailed performance benchmarks alongside the launch.
