Sensitify Studio
The desktop software for every ECA instrument. Free, for Windows and macOS, with no account or licence. It also opens measurement files without an instrument connected.
Sample data
Studio drew these. The same tools run on your own files.
Cyclic voltammetry, 50 mM ferrocyanide
50 mM ferrocyanide on a screen-printed electrode, 100 mV/s. Recorded on an ECA-500k.
Impedance spectrum, 50 mM ferrocyanide
50 mM ferrocyanide on a screen-printed electrode, at open-circuit potential, 10 mV amplitude, 50 kHz to 1 Hz. Recorded on an ECA-500k.
Amperometry, −40 to +40 pA in 10 pA steps
Recorded on an ECA-Zero. Test currents were generated by applying controlled bias voltages across a 100 MΩ resistor; 1 mV corresponds to 10 pA. Measurement example, not an accuracy specification.
Amperometry, a nominal 40 pA trace
Recorded on an ECA-Zero, 100 MΩ resistor, 4 mV bias. The file is the unfiltered recording; the plot is downsampled for display. Measurement example, not an accuracy specification.
Analysis tools
- Circuit fitting
Fit EIS data to an equivalent circuit and read off solution resistance, charge-transfer resistance, double-layer capacitance, and diffusion parameters.
- Peak finding
Locate the peaks in a voltammogram and report their potential, current, and charge.
- Integration
The charge under each voltammetric peak, integrated automatically during peak finding.
- Filtering
Reduce noise and restrict a curve to a potential window, time window, or CV cycle. The raw data is kept.
- Export
Export plots as PDF or PNG and data tables as Excel, CSV, ASCII, or MATLAB.
- Local language model
A chat panel in Studio that edits your workspace and answers questions about your data. The model runs on your computer.
- Publication workbench
Build figures from one or many experiments: calibration curves, Randles–Ševčík plots, Tafel slopes, dose-response curves, box plots, and bar graphs.
Auto Fit runs all 17 built-in equivalent circuits and ranks them by AIC, R², and χ².
Anodic and cathodic peaks with Ep, ip, and the integrated charge. Works on CV and DPV.
A chat panel that renames traces, recolours plots, and answers questions about your data. The model runs on your computer.
Techniques and instruments
CV, LSV, CA, CP, EIS, SWV, DPV, and OCP, and an experiment sequencer that chains them. Which model runs which technique is on the techniques page.
System requirements
- macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon, or Windows 10 or later
- 500 MB of disk space
- A USB-C or USB-A port for the instrument; no driver is needed
